Hey everyone! It’s been a little while since my last post, but that’s just because I’ve been super busy with some cool projects. And I have some news!
We’ve got another Wild Jam victory under our belts!!! 😀
The jam took place last month, and the theme was parallel dimensions. Grid and I put together a cool little narrative game about a guy stuck in a creepy motel looking for his wallet. Weirdness ensues! I don’t want to spoil anything here, but there’s some cool characters and dimension-hopping antics.
You can check it out here!
I am so proud of this game. My role was a lot bigger in this project than the last ones. I drew all the artwork by hand and wrote all of the dialogue, and Grid and I collaborated heavily on the story. I am starting to learn my way around Yarn, the program we used to organize all the dialogue.
Thanks to all the talented people in the Wild Jam community for your support and feedback and for putting this jam together every month! And thank you so much to everyone who took the time to review and even post videos playing our game. I’m so beyond happy that people are enjoying our creation!
We’re strongly considering doing more work on this game to create a full-length version. It would be a lot of fun to do, and I can already think of a million cool ideas for it. If you play the game and agree we should develop it more, please let us know!
